Synopsis

What remains if you keep correcting your reflection? The Perfect is a poetic documentary of three ballerinas from different generations. It weaves together the realities of a child, a young adult and a mature woman. The central theme of the film is hiding one's pain, and through the characters, its different facets are unraveled. From the effect of strict discipline on both body and psyche to the dynamics of the mother-daughter relationship, and the journey of womanhood.
